SCHOOL BAND

Any event is incomplete without the mellifluous melodies of the school band. Here, students learn to master the art of playing instruments, and become more knowledgeable about music. They understand a sense of community, and working together. The band display, symbolises uniformity, discipline and musical dexterity. The band leader is the fulcrum that holds it all together, while the students march to the beat of the drums. The NDA band team has been and will continue to adorn the numerous functions occurring in our school and beyond, be it Independence Day, Republic Day, Sports Meet. Instruments like the flute, euphonium, trumpet, trombone, drums, and Symbols are provided to play multiple tunes, from the national anthem, to ‘abide with me’. The school band is one of the many initiatives taken by the school, to encourage students to excel, not just in academics, but also the co-scholastic areas. The school believes in educating each child, to nurture their talents and harness their creativity, in order to develop their personality in the best possible way.
